Macayla Baldovi

I’d like to thank my parents for constantly encouraging me to be the best I can be and for not ever doubting me when I was at my lowest with myself. Thank you to all my teachers who always had faith in me and were able to tell me the right things I needed to hear. My teachers kept on pushing me when I wanted to give up and they taught me to be optimistic. I’d also like to thank my friends because they were a huge portion of my high school years. Without them, my moments would be dull and I would not have enjoyed high school as much. Sometimes when school was too serious, my friends were able to just make me smile and laugh, which allowed me to forget the little stress high school gave me. It was their consistent support that lead me to succeed.

Rafael Banalan

I’d like to give a shout-out to Mr. Winters of the Electronics room. He’s been one of the kindest, most supportive, and most humorous teachers I’ve ever had the pleasure of learning from. Not only did he teach me about electronics, but also in some aspects about life. In a way, I could consider him as a third parent to me because of how influential he’s been to my development throughout high school.

I’d like to shout out all of my friends from Tec who stuck with me from day one, the people who stood by me through both my best and worst moments. If it hadn’t been for them, it would’ve been so hard to go through the countless hours of “studying” we did before exams, and “doing homework” during lunch. Without these people I wouldn’t be half the man I am today, and for this I’d like to thank them.

Maryama Barre

I would love to give a shout-out to Ms. Falkenberg. I’m pretty sure I was a pain in the butt for her, but she constantly encouraged me and showed she cared and always pushed me to be better. Thank you for that ms. Falkenberg.

Marilou Batayon

Lastly, I want to make a shout-out to my teachers, especially to Mr. Willerton, who is like my second grandpa even though we bicker and he calls me a different name most of the time. And of course I wouldn’t forget about Mr. Castro, who I can complain about Willerton to and for letting me gain confidence in my sociability by letting me help with the cafeteria during lunch. And Ms. Kira, who I always ask for free food. I would like to express my gratitude to them for being there with me through thick and thin and for always supporting and staying with me and for making my high school memories even more memorable. Again thank you and I will forever cherish the memories I made at Tec-Voc.

She has helped me and others a lot with school and personal stuff. She is someone that has made my high school journey much easier and made my experience at Tec-Voc so memorable. I would also like to give a shout-out to my brothers and my dad. They have been there for me in the beginning and helped me throughout high school. They gave me the confidence I needed to go push through all of the challenges high school has given me and I’m so thankful and blessed to have them.

Kyla Idemne

I’d like to thank every single teacher in Tec-Voc right now for still educating us. I know it’s also a hard time for you guys, not just for us. I appreciate everything you guys have taught us ever since the moment we sat down in your classrooms. There are no other teachers in other schools that are able to teach us the way you did. Therefore, I thank you so much for everything you have been through just to educate us. Most importantly, thank you to my friends and family for not giving up on me when I’m going through a tough time thinking I wouldn’t make it through high school, thank you for motivating me.

Hosee Inocentes

Of course, I would want to give a shout-out to my teacher Mr. Michaud. He’s an awesome teacher and he’s like a parent because he’s always been super active with his students whether we need help or not. He also enables everyone to work at the students individual working pace, especially when we are working on projects like cubicles, motor controls, and DC Circuits. All in all, it’s been 3 years learning electrical preparing us for the next chapter of our lives. It’s sad that our class didn’t end up with a pizza party where everyone has to contribute and get copper as our reward. But it’s been fun and thank you Mr. Michaud, I hope the next batch of electrical students aren’t as goofy as our batch 😀

Kali Isaac

I’m extremely thankful for my friends who have helped me along the way, they made me feel proud of who I am and helped me come out of my shell. I love each of them so much.

I’m also very thankful for my teachers and my guidance counselor, Ms. Falkenberg. They have all helped me get back on my feet when I felt lost and alone. They pushed me not to give up when I felt like everything was caving in on me.

And of course my family, I’m thankful for each time they helped me find my classes or even when they pushed me to go to school even when I was too nervous to even get out of bed. I couldn’t have done it without their support.

My momma for always yelling at me to get it together even if sometime I just tuned her out. Sorry ma, love you and thanks for being my inspiration to be a strong women who doesn’t stand for no ones bs. My friends for never letting me do dumb stuff alone, school was never boring with them. And of course most importantly my teachers for seeing the best in my loud and over energetic behaviour. They always wanted me to do my best and knew I could do better then what I gave sometimes. Even the teachers that never taught me a single class still managed to become some of my favourites to talk to and visit, especially when I was having bad days. So thanks Mr. Metro for always letting me cool down or just hangout in the auto shop. I’m going to miss you calling me tiger ’cause I was always so bouncy. Mr. Smith with your cool magic tricks and pushing you to buy so much food off the cart. Mr. Dixon, Mr. Punton and Ms. Bouchard, I’ll miss hearing you call me Balakay and yelling Blake cart everyday with our fun little conversations. Mr. Foulgi, I’m going to miss working with you and you giving me food all the time. Ms. Langan, I’ll always love hanging out with you in your class just catching up. Last but not least the principals, even though sometimes when I was in the office it was for bad things I was never labelled one of the bad kids. You treated me with respect as I did for you and cared for what actually happened. So thank you Ms. Wong, Ms. Sacco, and Mr. Mogg. But a special thanks to Mr. Willerton and Ms. Falkenberg for always being there and knowing how to handle my moods the best. Sorry Willerton for all the stress Nic and I gave you in class, but you have to admit we are a pretty funny duo. I hope you know you’ll never have as great as a bake cart seller as I am. I guess that’s all, I’m sad to say goodbye to high school and everyone who has made an impact on my life, but in no way is this the last time the staff is going to see me and my contagious smile or hear my natural loud voice because I will sure as heck be visiting 🙂

Jena Javier

I’d like to give a shout-out to all the teachers I had throughout my years at Tec-Voc. And to all my friends who pushed me harder to be a better example for the younger students and guests in our school.

Derrick Llamas

Well my parents naturally since they kept on encouraging me to go to school and participate in as many activities as possible. To all the snakes who taught me what it felt like to get snaked on. The chefs at school for helping me build a foundation with my skills. The teachers who taught me throughout the years. The staff and custodians who gave us a clean, safe school. To my close friends for what they had to put up with me and still stayed there for me in the end, thanks y’all.
P.S. Mr. Cruickshank is still the best teacher I’ve ever had.

Jessica Look

I’d like to give a shout-out to my family and friends who made this journey possible. You guys have supported me through it all and now it’s another memorable chapter in my life finished. I also would like to thank Mrs. Petroulakis for helping me with math and putting in that little extra bit of effort and patience with me as it was never my strongest subject. Ms. Singer for always being the kindest and most thoughtful teacher I had in both Elmwood and Tec-Voc, and last but not least Mr. Winters… I came into his class at the start of grade 11 thinking after a week I’d switch out of his class, but he helped me step outside of my comfort zone and showed me reasons as to why I should stay. I’m glad I did stay as he’s taught me so much Electronics wise and staying in that class made me become life friends with Will, Seraphim, Vasily, Rafael, Brandon, Anmolpreet, and Semari.

Shaira Marie Lopez

I’d like to say thank you to Mr. Richardson for helping me get through English. Ms. Darbyshire for making me actually like math my grade 11 year. Mr Holowaty for being there for me 3 years in a row for emotional support, allowing me to rant on whatever is on my mind. Mr. MacRae for letting us eat lunch in his room everyday, even when we’re loud and screaming most of the time. Ms. Solarchuck for making me love the sport of basketball again. Ms. Marr for letting me always scare the soul out her, but still stayed as my best friend (I love you mama chicken). I’d like to thank my coaches this year, Ms. Bouchard and Ms. Beilner for giving me the opportunity to be your captain. It was a tough season, but I’m still grateful for such an amazing team and family.
And lastly, I’d like to thank my parents For always supporting me, pushing me through the pain and struggles, and just simply just being there for me.
Shout out to my friends who kept it REAL throughout high school. You guys know who you are. Love you guys.

Joaquin Martirez

My parents because they supported my decisions and helped me be the person I am today.

Matt Matias

I would like to give a shout-out towards my family, the friends I stuck with ever since junior high, and even the new friends I made throughout the three years at Tec. Finally, every teacher was amazing at what they do specifically; however, a huge shout out to Mr. Lomas and Mrs. Langan. My family and friends basically supported and guided me through my years at Tec, which helped me grow as an individual. There were some tough times, yet we all pushed through and kept going. We were all on the same page, which is to graduate the right way. As for Mr. Lomas, our class was a bunch of loud, but hardworking students. He laughed and taught us with enthusiasm. Mrs. Langan, even though her students didn’t really get to know us very well due to this pandemic, she still put in all the effort to get us ready for the future. I appreciate everything what has happened, and will never forget why I attended Tec-Voc High school.

John (Oo) May

Mr. Marnoch for being a great coach and teacher.

Roderick Mayham

I had great support going to school and helping me when I need the help.

Chef Mark Faulgi, you’ve always been there to push us harder everyday day we’re in the kitchen and teaching us the importance of always finding inspiration. Chef Livia Gloux, I thank you for always believing and me and trusting my work. You have been such a great support in everything I do and letting me do what I want to find my strength. Lastly, Chef Jerome Castro, my mentor, our friend. The person who has been so supportive and patient throughout my years in the culinary program. The person who taught me to go beyond my limits. I thank you for everything you have taught me and for all the advice. To my parents who never stopped believing in me. Letting my choose the path I want to pursue and who never left me. Vince Patrick F. Palapuz

I want to give a big thanks to all the teachers, most especially to Mr. Macrae for being the best Design Drafting teacher and for contributing his time to enhance my knowledge in Design Drafting.
He is a nice person, kind to others, and is a big help to students who are asking for help.

But it is not just about that. In my opinion, it gave me a dream to be an Architectural designer or an inventor. It’s really nice working with him because it is like I could build freely with my imagination. From parts to parts then assemble to build a single model.

Mr. Macrae is a great teacher and I will never forget the experience I had with his class in Tec-Voc.

Bernard Joseph Pasco

I would like to give a shout-out to my family for being there for me and helping me pursue my dreams. Saranda Pierre

I’d like to give a shout-out to Ms. Fedora. Walking through the halls, she’d always give me a kind smile or ‘Hello’. While also being that person to check up on how I am doing academically and mentally. Always offering help if I ever needed it. Thank you for pushing me and being proud of me.

Jovinelle Pimentel

Ms. Bouchard, I’d like to give her a shout-out for always being there for me whenever I need to rant and just hearing me out about all my problems about life or school.

Thank you so much.

I would like to give a shout-out the program CEDA Pathways and all the helpful tutors and staff that have supported me from grade 7 through 12. CEDA was honestly the backbone of my successful high school career. Every teacher I’ve had deserves a shout-out as well. Thank you for building and strengthening my knowledge throughout the years. I’d like to give a shout-out to the coaches because they taught me to keep pushing or to “dig in” to my fullest extent. My coaches have always wanted the best for me and I appreciate that. Without the friends I have made during my years of high school, the four years would have been much more difficult. For that I say thank you and I will remember all of the countless laughs and memories we have made together. I want to give a shout-out everyone I have mentioned briefly and thank you for being a part of my life at such an important time.

Breanne Sirack

All of these people have been such an amazing support system, I couldn’t ask for a better group of people in my life.

Austin Smith

My best friend and family for supporting me.

Shanelle Sorro

I would love to give a shout-out to my parents for their unconditional support, guidance, and love throughout my life. This helped and encouraged me throughout my educational journey. They truly deserve the world, and for all my teachers and extra supports, I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for all your teachings, lessons, tests, and quizzes. I really appreciate your dedication and effort that you poured into us students. And lastly, to all my fellow seniors and friends, thank you. For all the midnight call sessions, stressing over a test, we didn’t study for the next morning, and to all the times where we would just laugh like crazy over something stupid. We did it! It was a tough homestretch, but we reached the endgame. I hope we stay connected and continue to live happily. Congrats to us!

Savanna Spence

Shout-out to my friends and family for always supporting me in my decisions, shout-out to T for helping me become a better basketball player, and my teammates for making every season one to enjoy. Also, Rest In Peace Derek Bridgman you would’ve been here with us, thank you for the memories.

David the custodian, I would like to give David a shout-out since he is the type of person who would go the extra mile to make students feel like they belonged. Ozzy Thompson

Mr. Halldorson for being one of the best teachers I’ve ever had and making machining a career I want to pursue.

Shemaiah Tocao

I would like to give a special shout-out to Ms. Bouchard. She is the best teacher I had throughout my whole high school experience. She was an amazing broadcasting teacher, and she also taught me a lot of life lessons. I know that I could always come to her to talk about anything, whether its about life in general or school. She’s also one of the most supportive people I have ever met and I would like to say thank you for always encouraging me, making me laugh with your jokes, and bringing positivity.

Brendan Tokarz

As previously mentioned, I would like to give a shout-out to Mr. Michaud for always believing in me and coming in everyday with a smile. I would also like to thank my parents for always being supportive of the choices I made, from elementary all the way to my two years at Maples, and ultimately leaving to attend Tec. After I transferred I played one football game, and then I was told I was not able to play the rest of my grade 11 season, because of the transfer rule. Mr. Weiser and my Dad worked to get an appeal and got me to play the rest of the season. I can not thank them enough for everything that they did for me that year. I would also like to thank all the teachers at Tec-Voc for making the school a great environment for learning. I have made great connections with teachers and I’m proud to graduate a Hornet.

I would like to thank all of the football coaches for their time and dedication to the game of football. Without them, I would have not been offered to play in the Manitoba Major Junior Football League (MMJFL), and the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL). I would specifically like to thank Coach Jake Nicholls for always believing in me, working closely with me, and being a great role model on, and off the field. I would also like to thank Coach Brian Weiser for his support and taking me in when I transferred. I would also like to thank Mr. Michaud for a great two years of electrical. Mr. Michaud is a special teacher to me because he creates a bond with students and is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the trade. When I stepped into the electrical field, I will always remember Mr. Michaud and what he has done for me in not only becoming an apprentice, but a future journeyman. And finally, I would like to thank my family for being supportive of my dreams and aspirations, both academically, and with my sports. Without all these incredible people, I would not be where I am today, and I am proud to graduate a Hornet.

Vince Torres

I like to give a shout-out to my family, friends, and teachers who’ve supported me through thick and thin on my decisions and career path in life. A special thank you goes to Mastromonaco, Mr. Roy, Mr. Metro, and Ms. Rosko who were always there for me in my times of need and gave me the motivation and drive to push myself towards the red seal automotive technician path. To my beloved friends Kitty, Raezel, MJ, David, and Yohann, thank you for all of the countless laughs and memories we made and had together. Let’s all get Boba after this, yeah?
